The Word Is Out

A few months ago, we had a crazy idea to travel the world. While we had our fair share of hesitations, we couldn’t help but hear the voices of many trusted people around us who told us we have to go, and we have to go NOW! Any doubts we had of if this is the right time, do we have the money, the support, the stamina to take on an 8 month international trip seem to be wiped away by the consistent support of the community around us. 

For every scary conversation to bosses, friends, family, and community members about leaving our town, there is a “that’s awesome,” “yes! do it now,” and “I’m so excited for you” to replenish our certainty that we are heading in the right direction. 

So an update of what we have planned so far:

  1. Booked one way flights to Nepal

  2. Are looking at next destinations in SE Asia, Japan, Hawaii, Central and South America

  3. Have a timeline of coming back to the continental US in January of 2020! 

  4. Are working on our personal projects to keep our minds and spirits bright
