Greener

The thing about changing is, for a while, everything feels uncomfortable.

It’s like walking around in a new suit of skin that you don’t really know how to work yet.

It’s deciding each step, word, move and wardrobe choice to make sure you’re the person you want to be, or the person that’s socially acceptable, or the person who fits in, you’re not really sure which one it is.

The noises don’t stop from far before sunrise to late at night

The earplugs help but they don’t forget the tension the day put on your shoulders

There’s glamor on every other greener grass

When you’re complacent you want growth

When you travel you want home

When you’re bored you want a purpose

When your life is charging ahead you want a rest

When you’re home you want an exotic bungalow

When you travel you want to stop worrying about the 1 inch gap in your mosquito net in the middle of the night
