Revelstoke

It’s release day!!! Revelstoke is a mellow solo acoustic guitar piece.  I wrote it while traveling in Canada last fall.  Mia and I were doing a Work Away at the Base Camp Guest House in Revelstoke, B.C.  The cover art Mia created is a nod to a couple days spent planting some trees and doing some landscaping as a part of our work exchange.  We really enjoyed our time there.  It was a lot of fun exploring Revelstoke and getting in some fall hikes.  We even got to enjoy Canadian Thanksgiving with our gracious hosts.  Our nights were filled with time to journal and read. I also spent some time composing. This song was born.  I titled it Revelstoke because I find myself thinking of some happy days there and wondering how all the little trees we planted are doing. It’s fun to be reminded of this story any time I pick up a guitar and play this song.

Thanks Mia for the cover artwork! I love the style you are helping me create with your line drawings!
